What follows is a list of vids (that I've only just become aware of) that stood out for me at Vividcon this year. Each one comes highly recommended. Huge congrats to all the vidders, there were a lot of great vids this year!

SciFi in a Blender - Mashups taken to vidding. Really smart and pretty vid.

God is a DJ - I think this is now my favourite Starbuck vid. In Club Vivid, I followed it with my favourite Sydney Bristow vid This Girl Is Taking Bets

Take Me Out - makes me want to watch Wiseguys like no vid has done before.

Goody Two Shoes - yay Fraser

Party at Ground Zero - yay Psychotronic!

Tre Sorelle - Beautiful vid, get it posted heresluck

Beep Beep - Starship Troopers?!?!??! awesome!

Boom Boom Bah - hawtness

Boy Was a Puppet - surprises me with its greatness every time

Hotel California - The Prisoner works sooooo well here. Wonderful vid.

Roseability - Adorable Angel and Spike vid. Complex, interesting and compelling.

Mixed Nuts - Again, adorable. Very pretty, very cute Farscape ensemble vid.

Deja Vu - My fave Veronica Mars vid ever. Certainly a fantastic look at Veronica and Lilly's relationship.

New Frontier - Perfect song for the movie Serenity and for Mal in particular.

All Along the Watchtower - I adored Wild Palms and this is all the reasons why.

The Frug - Wonderfalls! Or more importantly a really good character portrait with all the quirkyness intact.

Caught in a Jar - I've not watched Rescue Me but this is such a great pimping vid.

Swing Down Chariot - Dance dance dance.

Post Blue - Another stunning Firefly/Serenity vid, this time looking at River. Beautifully composed, excellent concept.

Icebound Stream - Along with Out Here, my favourite Due South vid ever. Totally gorgeous.

Hello Muddah Hello Faddah - Charming M*A*S*H classic

Friday I'm in Love - a modern Pros vid with style and charm aplenty

She Hates Me - I adore this vid. Why aren't more people talking about this vid?!?!! It's Moonlighting and Richard Cheese and superb comedy timing and just plain wonderful. Go watch this vid now!!

Close to You - Oh my. The vidder is Jack in this completely serious love song.

All By Myself - Genuinely heartbreaking. The POV change gets me every single time. Poor Spock! Poor Kirk!

Man in Motion - Giddy. This is what you will be when you watch this delightfully fun tongue-in-cheek Neo vid.

Lover's Cross - Twisted humour, damn that Angelus

Bring Me To Life - It's all for meeeeeeeeeeee! Zombies, yay.

Monochrome - Carnivale at its most touching... and yes, creepy but what do you expect from this show?

One Day Late - Bittersweet. Perfect tone for Firefly/Sernity. Charming and heart-wrenching all at once.

Ragged Ass Road - I'm totally pimped for Prison Break after this vid. Really great work.

Comin Up From Behind - Damn this vid is hot

Fix You - Dripping with irony, such an excellent concept executed perfectly.

Bukowski - The perfect song for House edited with astolat's usual class.

I Put You There - Wonderful meta vid, lovingly made.

1916 - This vid will destroy you, you have been warned.

Time Bomb - Really really excellent Life on Mars vid.

Anodyne - Scrubs! Why are there not more scrubs vids?

Repeat After Me - So so good. OMG.

You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You're Drunk - Leeeemo!!! This vid is hillarious. Lee's tortured expressions never gave me more joy.

Kick in the Head - Ahhhh Riker! What a great vidl. I've such fond memories of TNG, it really had that excellent balance of serious and comic that no Trek venture has had since. Bless sdwolfpup for reminding us.
