Lum pointed me here, because she knows I'm not reading much LJ these days. My vid-watching brain has been kind of broken for the last year plus; I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of vids I've watched all the way through that I didn't need to watch for beta or checking vids. I'll start watching a vid, and before long, I realize things aren't making sense to me, or I just can't be bothered...
I started watching this, worried the same thing would happen, but before I knew it I'd watched this all the way through, and I loved it, and it made me cry. *shakes fist*
I don't know the movie (but I'm tracking it down), but I didn't care. You did a fantastic job of letting me know what was going on, of making me care about these kids, capturing the intensity of friendships like this. IT IS A THING OF WONDER AND BEAUTY. Thank you.
