These are a few of my favourite things/o~
Apr. 24th, 2003 10:02 amI can't emphasise enough how The UK Chocolate Society's organic milk chocolate bar is the most fantastic milk chocolate I've ever tasted ever. I know most people who like good chocolate go for dark with 70+% cocoa solids but even so I really recommend this stuff. I never thought 'ordinary' milk chocolate could have such a unique array of flavours.
It's mighty pricey at $3.50, but damn worth it. (UK readers, it's actually cheaper in shops than on their website - you can get it in many good delis)
Chateau Musar. I'd bought a bottle of it again a few months back but thought I'd save it for my birthday. It's sooo damn good. Sure, $15 for a bottle of wine is a lot, but you wont be complaining when you drink it. Mine was a bottle of the 1996 vintage, which isn't one of the best but still incredibly gorgeous.
Suffice to say, yesterday contained these very good things.
Oh, and I made some really cheap cd purchases too!
A-ha - Scoundrel Ways.... THE classic from 1986
A-ha - Major Earth | Minor Sky... Album from a few years back. Contains the awesome single "Summer Moved On" (which unfortunately didn't get a US single release by the looks of things)
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds... when you see this cd for next to nothing you have to buy it :) Still disturbed by the cover though.
