Oct. 19th, 2004 08:51 pmUpon rather curious recommendation I just watched the movie Dreamcatcher. By many accounts I should have thought that this film was terrible but when watching it a line from another movie kept going through my head:
"The architect was either a certified genius or an aesthetic wacko"
I have a feeling that most people either don't look too hard at this film or they just plain don't want to. I don't think I'm in a position to really articulate the finer points of this movie but it was a really fascinating thing. When I can explain exactly what I mean I will but for now I'm just going to stay dumbfounded.... I have a strange feeling that the movie was actually a stroke of genius despite the marketing men and some of the creative staff not actually realising it when making it.
