Yey! Finished work early today, which is always good - it will give me a chance to do some pie shopping :)

Tomorrow Nicole and I are adding to our Twin Peaks experience by baking some pies! It's an English-American bake-off. I'm doing the traditional English apple pie recipe but I'm expecting some double-crusted American wonder from Nicole. Oh well, there's no losers in this situation... we get pie.

Thankfully Nicole doesn't like Cherry Pie either so it's all good.

Its great watching season 1 twin peaks again. I'm glad I waited for the UK release as it has the pilot... it's impossible to watch the show without it really. Most of the fun actually comes from watching the expressions on Nicole's face - she has this amazing huge grinny smile when she is happy or excited... which is practically every time Kyle McLachlan is on screen as Agent Cooper.

Anyway, I don't think I need a log lady to tell me that this weekend is going to be "damn fine".
