Great Teacher Roba~stu
Jan. 10th, 2003 06:22 pmI'm no longer a temp/debt collector. I am now an English teacher and will soon enough be an English and Film Studies teacher.
:O
On Tuesday I got a call asking me to come in and speak to the headmaster of Cherwell College, Oxford. On Wednesday I taught my first class. Crazy or what?! The pay is pretty good, although there will be a few headaches changing over to a monthly payment system (especially as this month I wont have a full pay).
I think what's more important than anything else is that I now have a "proper" job. I can say "I am a teacher" instead of "I am a temp". I also have more free time now, due to the nature of the college.
Oh and check this: It's 3:15 on Friday and I've finished work. Awesome :D

Monthly pay sucks...especially at the end of the year, when you get your paycheck a week before Christmas, and then have to make it last 6 weeks and through the biggest-spending holiday of the year.
