This is what editing for a hobby is really about.

None of this torturing yourself over your next video or desperately trying to do the next impressive trick with editing. It's about getting inspiration and rushing home that minute to start work on it.

The video I'm working on at the moment only has around 10 seconds left to edit and I thought of the idea walking home from work on Thursday. Two gentle afternoons editing and voila!

It's been so much fun to put together - simple video, good (and short) footage. Minimal effort, maximum returns.

Videos like this keep me going in this hobby. I'm enjoying becoming older and laid back with editing. I'll leave the phenominal innovations to the new kids.

Well, when I did my "invoations" I was far from being a Kid!
Still, I do agree with you, my Video for JACON can to me in a big inspirational flash one afternoon and it was nothing but fund making it... Now if only I could edit video like you in a few afternoons, but I guy my old age makes it take a lot longer!

I had the same thing happen to me 3 days ago. I have 30 seconds left to go. Simlple, funny music, and solid execution. Who needs crazy effects when you got a good concept.
