I have a feeling they'll treat it well. Only DB-properties have been the ones of theirs subject to low bitrates / poor compression / poor treatment.

Only problem with 3-ep discs is that it will break a person's wallet. Surely they'll see that releasing it on 34 dvds isn't the way to to.
