Videos I made this year:
Aim For Victory!
Magical Dreamer
Childhood's End - The Children Project Alternate Ending
Reflections of Style - Freaky Fish Juice
Do It Right (Shake It!)
DDR Rhythm and Police (currently unreleased on it own)
DDR Synchronised Love (unreleased)
Eternity in Black
Realise
The Gentle Art of Making Enemies
My favorite video this year (of my own):
This is actually a pretty tough one. It's probably Do It Right (Shake It!) but I can't really say I like that video more than many of the others I've done this year.
My best video this year:
Well "Do It Right" is technically my best video, so I guess I'll go for that one.
Video most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Probably The Gentle Art of Making Enemies. When you make videos you for a long time you get a reasonable sense of what is the expected quantity of response but this one didn't get much response at all but the reason for that was simple. I had to post it when I did because I was moving house and losing the internet but it was right at the time where everyone was traveling for thanksgiving and they missed it. So, yeah, just a timing problem really.
Most fun video:
The most fun to make was either Aim for Victory or Magical Dreamer as they were concepts which worked really well and just fell effortlessly into place. The most fun to watch is almost certainly Do it Right. Actually, DDR Rhythm and Police (even though I havent got round to posting it yet) was a lot of fun to do due to the wonderful creative collaboration with
gambitt.
Video with single sexiest moment:
Oh gosh. Well, I don't do sexy so it's either going to be some random scenes from my dreadful dracula video or the toe sucking scene at the end of Childhood's End... but if you find the latter sexy then I don't want to know.
Hardest video to make:
Eternity in Black. With no real concept of the video and no real experience in live action vidding it was a real curse. Really it shouldnt have been released. The most technically challenging video was Do it Right but to be completely honest the stuff there wasn't hard, it was just tedious.
Most unintentionally *telling* video:
This is a tricky question. People don't tend to read much into my videos other than me so... you tell me :)
If anyone has any questions about the vids I did this year, I'll happily answer them.

Date: 2004-12-24 11:56 am (UTC)I'll have to download them all and watch 'em since I missed several, but for now I grabbed The Gentle Art of Making Enemies. It's always nice to see good Faith No More videos, and I haven't seen many, so I'm glad you pointed it out!
I think release timing does make a big difference in how many people notice a video though, and the fact that it's live action might have made some people skip it if they're only interested in AMVs, but you'd be better able to judge that based on the reception of your other non-Anime videos. At least you know that some of us appreciate it (now that we know about it). ;)
