ermac318 reminded me about some of the old Phorum posts on animemusicvideos.org before we used the new forum. While the old phorum is no longer around, we do still have all the sql tables so I did a bit of searching for some of the more memorable threads. This one is particularly special - here it is in its original state with only the image changed due to 404ness.I'm sure

Yup. It's true. Our AMV's are crap.
How did I come to this conclusion, you ask? (You did. I heard you!)
Simple:
Including an occasional Bible quote in DJ_Izumi's thread made me remember...
Jesus said that the sole reason God created women in the first place was to provide company and service to men (1 Corinthians 11:9). However; once Man dies, he goes to Heaven and is enveloped by the presence of God. Man won't be lonely, so he doesn't NEED the company provided by women, nor our service of reproduction. Women aren't needed, so there's no reason for us to go to Heaven.
But if all good souls go to Heaven, the only reason us women CAN'T go... is because we don't have souls.
That sucks. I don't have a soul.
NOW: That big dude from Aluminum Studios said that AMV's are a means of artistic expression, and good AMV's are brought out using inspiration. Inspiration CANNOT be learned. It's something inside of us. It comes from the SOUL.
Therefore, since we have no soul, we have no artistic faculties... no inspiration. Without that, we cannot make good AMV's. Our AMV's can only ever be crap.
CONCLUSION = Girls make crappy AMV's.
(That explains why my AMV's are crap. It's not MY fault. I just have no soul. I was doomed from the start.)

Indeed. She IS woman, and I also think she be da bomb. Her videos have swepped the VC Awards. MOST ARTISTIC may be her prize.
Ah... but that is easily explained:
You see, while even I am a great fan of her works, I am merely one of many who have been tricked by her sneakiness! There IS no artisticiment in her AMV's. We only THINK there is, for we live in FEAR of her. WHY? Because it is human nature to fear really BIG things that can hurt us. None more than a... BIG-BIG-TRUCK!
That's right! The BIG-BIG-TRUCK is none other than OPTIMUS PRIME! Revered by boys. Beloved by girls (At least this one...). Whenever we watch an AMV by E.K, we see her Title ""BIG-BIG-TRUCK... and we subconsciously think of Optimus. Powerful... mighty... wonderful... commanding our respect and adoration. We are enveloped by these raging emotions, and are tricked into believing it was the AMV that brought them out.
It is NOT her AMV! It is her Title!
So you see... Even poor E.K. is subject to the No Soul = Crap AMV rule. Just as ALL us gals are. We are bound by forces beyond our comprehension. We are forever condemned to make AMV's MOST crapulent. Only by resorting to subterfuge and trickery by manipulation of the mass subconscious can we ever hope to gain praise.
...and that sucks.
