I've come to the conclusion that he is a shameless whore. Sorry grungettarocks but you know it's true.

It seems to me that since Trainspotting he has had two criteria for making films:

1) "Will I be paid large quantities of money?"
or
2) "Will I be able to get my dick out on screen?"

Pillow Book, Nora, Velvet Goldmine, Young Adam... all very low pay... yet he gets his dick out in all of them!

Where exactly does Brassed Off fall into this, then? Or did he get paid an obscene amount of money for it? (or was it before Trainspotting?)

It was around the same time as trainspotting, when he hadn't yet gained any real international notoriety.
