You can blame
sockkpuppett for me filling up your FL
1. Total volume of music files on my computer:
Well I have 40gig which I sync up to my iriver and then usually another 10/20gig of floating stuff... at the moment.
2. The Last CD I bought was: The Bad Plus - Give (which I bought today)
3. The Last Song I Listened To Before Writing This: De La Soul - Say No Go
4. Five Songs I Listen To A Lot: This is a hard question. Songs I can think of this moment that I return to and remain unchanged in their greatness:
Make It Easy On Yourself - The Walker Bros
Song for Whoever - The Beautiful South (from my childhood)
It Aint Me Babe - Bob Dylan
Rock n Roll Suicide - David Bowie
Say a Little Prayer - Aretha Franklin (woah two BB songs. I like the Aretha version best)
4b Five songs that I have been listening to a lot in the past couple of months would be:
Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash. Particularly enjoying his live prison albums at the moment where he plays a constant stream of songs about murder and then finishes the set with a medley of soul-saving gospel songs :)
What's Goin On - Marvin Gaye. It's been on my mind.
Rockit - Herbie Hancock. I just can't get over that cheesy robotic "don't stop it" line and the utter lack of finesse with the scratches :)
Keasby Nights - Catch 22
It Must Be Love - Madness
5. Five people I am passing this baton to:
lierdumoa
gambitt
grungettarocks
permetaform
kusoyaro
