Mostly for Potterites
Dec. 27th, 2003 07:05 pmAs I was back in Durham for Christmas, I decided to take some photos of the very pretty 10th century Cathedral.
The Cathedral is famous for all sorts of things, mainly archetectural and being the final resting place for St Cuthbert and the Venerable St Bede (of ecclesiastical history fame) - but it has also known recently for its part in the ever so popular Harry Potter films.
You may recognise this corridor from Hogwarts.
Looking through the gaps shows this courtyard.
That's enough touristness and geekness from me for one day :)

All the same, pretty nifty place. =)
I don't have grand buildings like that near me. Just mountains, forests, and deserts.
