Marc YU, who ran the License Kodocha online petition was told to take the petition down and was offered gifts to not release who has licensed it, or so he says on the animeondvd forums.
I actually knew a little bit about this already - that there was a US company in line for it and if they dropped the ball then ADV were going to step in and pick it up - or so I heard a few months back.
